Are you dem-curious?

Left of Center is a Charlottesville, Virginia group of mostly twenty- and thirty-something local Democrats or dem-curious people.

In talking with our friends, we’ve realized the need to recruit more young people into the party and to provide an opportunity for us get to know other left-leaning voters in their 20s and 30s living in the city, county and surrounding areas. Our party will be stronger with more diversity, and will remain strong if we start now to cultivate future leadership.

LOC is organized by a Steering Committee, comprised of: Brian Carr, Winnie Chao, Jenny Givens, Eve Hesselroth, Katie Hill, Jenny Hogan, Waldo Jaquith, Valerie L’Herrou, Becky Reid and Jeff Uphoff. LOC was launched in March 2006 by co-founders Holly Hatcher and Mike Signer.
